Earthquake Protection
ULUS YAPI is a specialist in protecting buildings, facilities and equipments from earthquakes by following state-of-the-art engineering applications and tooling.
ULUS YAPI protects buildings and facilities by designing, manufacturing and installation of innovative base isolation systems including but not limited to roller bearings1 and teflon sliders2. ULUS YAPI also applies conventional strengthening systems such as steel jacketing and chemical reinforcement.

Cevahir Shopping Mall
After acquisition of this shopping mall (which is the biggest in Europe) by St. Martins Property Group from England, ULUS YAPI is hired for the seismic strengthening of the building to an updated level by new regulations. This project includes steel jacketing of concrete columns, beam strengthening, epoxy repair works and a very unique application of replacing the fixed supports of the 240 ton weight skylight dome with seismic slider bearings.
Finansbank Ümraniye Operation Center
ULUS YAPI has installed the state-of-the-art roller seismic bearings for a complete floating floor system at the IT level of this operation center, where priceless information is saved covering the whole Marmara region.
Abdi Ibrahim Medical Plant
All electro-mechanical systems of the new R&D building as part of this facility have been protected by ULUS YAPI as a turnkey project.
